Can't say enough great things about Kyoto Garden! It was the first restaurant we visited after moving to Glenview last year and it's now the first place we suggest when guests visit us. The service has always been friendly and we're never left waiting long for food or drinks. The menu has plenty of options, even if you're not a fan of sushi! Also, the agedashi tofu app is 🤤 Thank you for quickly becoming our neighborhood favorite!!

This has quickly become my absolute favorite Japanese restaurant 🍣😍! It used to be known as Skipjack, but now it’s Kyoto Garden under new ownership and staff after the pandemic, and you can really tell there’s been a fresh new energy here ✨. The sushi rolls are incredibly unique and full of flavor 😋🍱 - I’ve honestly never seen so many of these creative combinations anywhere else. Everything feels thoughtfully crafted and different in the best way. Even though they seemed a bit short-staffed, the service was still excellent 👍😊. The team handled everything smoothly and stayed friendly and attentive throughout the visit. The steak here was also amazing - definitely something I’ll be ordering again next time. I even spoke with the owners, and they mentioned they have a very experienced group of sushi chefs behind the scenes, which really shows in the quality and creativity of the menu 👏

If you want something better than mediocre sushi, this is the place (it was for me). The best California roll and Shrimp Tempura roll I’ve had for the money in a long time. Friendly, attentive staff. Nice ambiance. Outdoor patio too.

Lovely place with great food! Their Valentine’s Day decorations were very cute and they had a few themed specials. The miso soup, Black Dragon roll, and Black Pearl rolls were all very good. Cute atmosphere and the service was fast although perhaps felt a little rushed. Would love to return for a delicious and quick bite to eat!
